We had such a great time hitting the road for the Pocomoke City Schools Bus Tour for our new teachers! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with our families, meet members of our community, and celebrate the start of another exciting school year. We were especially excited to give away more than 300 book bags filled with school supplies to local families! 🎒✏️📓 We are so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success. A HUGE shoutout to the Pocomoke High School Drumline for bringing the energy and keeping us moving with some amazing music! 🥁🔥 This is what being a Warrior community is all about—showing up, giving back, and starting the school year together! We can’t wait to welcome our students back! 💙💛

As we get ready for another exciting school year at Pocomoke Middle School, I wanted to share a few books from my summer reading list! Every story has something to teach us—about leadership, perseverance, relationships, success, and the power of believing in ourselves.
My goal this summer is simple: keep learning, keep growing, and keep reading! 📖

I hope our students and families will find a book that sparks their curiosity and gives them something to think about. Whether you read for 10 minutes or 100 pages, every page counts!

We were so excited to see the incredible support from the Pocomoke community at our cookout at the courts this afternoon! It was wonderful to spend time together, connect with our families, and enjoy some fun in our community. 🏀🌭☀️

Most of all, we were excited to see YOU! Your support means so much to our students and staff, and we are grateful for the strong sense of community that makes Pocomoke so special.

☀️📚 Summer Academy – Week 4 Highlights! 📚☀️

Week 4 at Pocomoke Middle School Summer Academy was filled with learning, laughter, and hands-on fun! Our students explored the impact of fossil fuel mining by mining chocolate chips from cookies, stayed active with a little exercise, sharpened their math skills with fraction activities, and participated in some exciting games of BINGO! 🍪⛏️➗🏃‍♂️🎉

The best part? Watching our students and teachers learn together, build relationships, and make lasting memories each day. We can't wait to see what next week brings! 💙💛

What an incredible way to wrap up the week! Students from Berlin Intermediate School, Snow Hill Middle School, and Pocomoke Middle School showcased everything they learned during the Crescendo Summer Camp with Symphony 21 at their culminating performance.

Throughout the camp, students explored the world of music by learning to play the acoustic violin while also gaining hands-on experience with sound and lighting engineering. Their hard work, creativity, and confidence were on full display!

Wrapping up today's visits, WCPS leaders visited Pocomoke Middle School's summer academy programs, where students were taking the lead with their learning. Whether it was modeling mathematics using Apple Classroom or showcasing their ukelele skills, PMS students were having a blast today! #WeAreWorcester #LearningNeverStops

Today, we proudly celebrated the promotion of our incredible 8th grade students as they take the next step in their educational journey! 🎓💙💛 This milestone marks years of hard work, growth, perseverance, and memorable experiences at Pocomoke Middle School. We are so proud of all that our students have accomplished and are excited to see the great things they will achieve in high school and beyond. A special thank you to Pocomoke City Councilwoman Sharnell Tull for serving as our guest speaker and sharing inspiring words of encouragement with our students. Your message challenged them to believe in themselves, embrace opportunities, and continue striving for excellence as they move forward. Congratulations, Class of 2030!
