WCPS families, last week the Dept. of Homeland Security issued a directive allowing immigration enforcement actions to occur in sensitive areas, including schools and bus stops. The Hold we implemented has been lifted, and our school day has returned to normal. During the hold, students are not permitted to leave the classroom nor should teachers be walking around the building. When on a hold, staff and students stay where they are when the hold is called. Do not call to ask if students can use the bathroom or when the hold will be over.

Pocomoke Middle School Families there will be WiFi and academic support at the food distribution today! NMBC on Young St. at 1:00 and Victoria Apartment Area at 2:00. Refer to the flyer posted on Facebook and Class Dojo.
As road conditions are anticipated to worsen overnight and due to the previously scheduled early dismissal days, WCPS will hold virtual learning days on January 23rd and 24th. Students should log-on to Schoology according to their regular schedule. All afterschool, evening, and Adult Education classes are cancelled.

- Schoology can be accessed at https://worcesterk12.schoology.com/
- All students should log-in to Schoology at their regular reporting time. Middle and high school students will follow their regular schedules, and elementary students should log in to their homeroom for more information from their teacher.
- Don't know your child's log-in for Schoology? Reach out to your child's school, or use our HelpDesk (https://worcesterk12help.zendesk.com/) to request the credentials.
VIRTUAL LEARNING Quick Facts:
- Please note that no student will be penalized for not being able to access remote learning. Students will have five (5) days after a return to in-person learning to complete any assigned work; completing that work will count for their attendance on the virtual day.

Good Afternoon! Just a reminder that there will be early dismissals on Thursday, 1/23 & Friday, 1/24. Dismissal will begin at 12:15 PM with walkers and car riders followed by bus riders. If your child is a car rider, please pick them up at 12:15 PM.
