This past Saturday, students from all over the Eastern Shore of MD gathered at Bennett Middle School to audition for the 2024 All-Shore Band. Over 120 middle school students auditioned. We are pleased to announce that three Pocomoke Middle School students were selected! Congratulations to MacKenna (trombone), Bryce (trumpet), and Jasmine (tuba)! These students will represent Pocomoke Middle at the All-Shore Band concert in April.

Just a reminder that Monday (1/29) & Tuesday (1/30) are early dismissal days. Dismissal will begin at 12:15 PM for walkers & car riders. School will be closed on Wednesday (1/31) for all students.
Students in Mrs. Thornton's 4th grade class are comparing differences in both the novel and movie "Matilda". It was interesting listening to their conversations because movies give viewers visuals to focus on while books challenge readers to imagine and interpret the story in their own unique way.
