💙 After School Academy is officially underway at Pocomoke Middle School! 💛
We had a fantastic first day filled with academic support, enrichment, and a variety of other engaging opportunities for our students.
It was great to see our Warriors staying after school, learning, exploring new interests, and spending time with our amazing staff! We are excited to see all that our students will accomplish throughout the After School Academy.
A big thank you to our staff for providing these opportunities and investing their time in our students! 🏆
UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, the first Diet Coke with the Supt will be rescheduled to a later date. We will update the community as it is rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding!
A new school year means a fresh round of Diet Coke with the Supt! Dr. Annette Wallace is hitting the road again this fall, and the first stop is Pocomoke McDonald’s on Tuesday, October 13, from 5:00–6:30 p.m.
No agenda. No presentation. Just an opportunity for families and community members to pull up a chair, grab a Diet Coke (or your favorite beverage), and chat with Dr. Wallace about our schools, our students, and what’s on your mind. Mark your calendar, Pocomoke — we’ll see you in October! #WeAreWorcester #ListeningLeader
We are excited to kick off our After School Academy tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29! 🎉
🕒 Time: 3:15–5:00 PM
📅 Begins: Tuesday, September 29
Students who were accepted into the program should have received confirmation letters sent home last week.
We’re looking forward to providing our students with additional opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed after the school day! 💙💛
This is our last week of our Joe Corbi fundraiser. All orders are due on Monday, October 5th!
IMPORTANT: Worcester County Public Schools will open one hour late on Monday, September 28, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions. All school programs will begin following the one-hour delay. Buses will operate accordingly. Please be aware that should road conditions result in any changes to your child’s bus route, the bus driver will contact you directly with further information.
Today, we celebrated the legacy of Dolly Parton by doing something we know she would love — sharing our love of literacy with our students! ❤️📖
Dolly’s passion for children, books, and helping young people dream big is a wonderful reminder of the power of reading and the impact a single book can have.
We also took time to celebrate the people who make Pocomoke Middle School so special — our amazing staff! ☕️💗 Our “Cup of Ambition” celebration was a small way to recognize the hard work, dedication, and ambition our staff brings to our students every single day.
At Pocomoke Middle, we believe in dreaming big, working hard, and making a difference. Today was a great reminder that a little ambition, a good book, and a whole lot of heart can go a long way! 💙💛
The hold has been lifted. Our School has resumed normal operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Pocomoke Middle School is currently in a HOLD safety status due to a medical situation. At this time, all hallways are being cleared, and students and staff will continue with instruction. We will notify you as the HOLD status is lifted or if further instructions are warranted. Please know that we will continue to hold our students’ and staff’s safety as our priority.
