Pocomoke Middle School is excited to celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week! Next week, our students and staff will join schools across Worcester County Public Schools to recognize and celebrate the many different ways people think, learn, and experience the world. Neurodiversity reminds us that every mind is unique and that our differences make our school community stronger. We look forward to a week of school spirit, kindness, and inclusion as we celebrate the strengths of all learners. Be sure to join the fun and share your spirit photos with #WorcesterSystem!

Today our 8th grade students had a fantastic opportunity to explore their futures at Junior Achievement! 🎓💼 Students participated in JA career exploration activities, where they learned about different career paths, workplace skills, and how education connects to future opportunities. Experiences like this help our students start thinking about the many possibilities ahead of them. A huge thank you to Junior Achievement for providing such an engaging and meaningful experience for our students today. We appreciate your commitment to helping young people prepare for success in the real worl

Due to inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Public Schools will hold a virtual learning day on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Students should log-on to Schoology as directed by their school. All after school, evening and Adult Education classes are cancelled.

WCPS is aware that power and connectivity outages are still impacting some areas of our school system; however, as a reminder, all students will be provided support to make-up any instruction and classwork upon our return to in-school learning should they not be able to access synchronous instruction. Visit https://www.worcesterk12.org/page/virtual-day-instruction to view the virtual day instruction plan for more detail.
